Joel Rakes was recently featured so I headed on over because I have learned if it’s on BMN it’s worth checking out!
I love his simple voice and guitar. He reminds me of a tamer, deeper Jack Johnson and I’m feeling his music fits todays weather.
I downloaded his Christmas freebies; and he has a free song each week so you can check back and back again.
During a University program these students did this funny rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas. After Uni the guys went their separate ways had families and have careers. One of the guys found an old video and put it on you tube for their personal enjoyment.
With in a short amount of time it had over a million hits. One of the viewers was Atlantic Records who offered them a tour and 5 record contract! So fun.
