Trying to keep up with Kat is like trying to keep up with the Joneses. I’ve never met a more inspired person who can continually crank out new juices.
If there are two types of creatives, creatives who create, and creatives who copy, Kat is a 5 star in the first group. She’s ingenious; a word which means brilliant, amazing, and is often used in describing things that are so profound they take your breath away leaving you awe struck and spell bound… like the person who said tomato soup and grilled cheese match on a chilly November day.
Her latest, and I use the term loosely because rest assured now that this is public she’s most likely producing her next big announcent to run for president next term, or something ground breaking as she changes poopy diaper and says unintelligable words like, ” lala loo doo” to her little boy…. uh hem, her latest brain child: The Bloggable Music Network is a sliver of her pure genius.
I confess I was skeptical at first. Skeptical meaning I was reluctant to sign up but I did anyway. And when the newsletter didn’t come I should have at that moment turned off my computer and ran a half marathon away because it would have been better for all of us that way; and I would not be sitting here putting together this wordy post. Wordy here says that I’ve already exceeded the alloted words to hold your attention for a blog; but you are still reading so you defy those rules and besides; I hate running.
If you want to know what the Bloggable Music Network is you will need to visit the site because I don’t understand it entirely; I just saw free music and blog and Kat and that tonic of words together means better than a margarita with fajitas at Ninfas so I hit sign me up.
I’m not a typical southern suburban mom like Kat, so I wasn’t sure if our radio dials would be landing on the same stations if ya know what I mean… and if you don’t well let’s just say I like Toby Mac and Kat likes Anne of Green Gables.
But being a supportive fan I willed my index finger to the play button.
I wasn’t sure if I could follow the links and listen to the songs without seeing images of funky hair and grown men in their p.j’s but because I am a hopeless cause I went anyway.
A song for me is like an object in the store. If three days later I’m still thinking, “I should go back and get that” then I know I need to do just that or for the next 8 months I”ll be kicking myself for not purchasing the no longer available item; and somehow the said object that was worth $2.99 consumes me and I”ll go to great lengths to find it online and pay trippple plus shipping just to rest at night.
So it was all evening and into the wee hours and now the next day that images of grown men in p.j.’s and funky hair in a fun trendy way, and large bellies filled with babies, arrange themselves in my mind with melodies that haunt me with their beauty.
Go HERE and sign yourself up!
Joy’s tunes are stuck in my head so beware. It’s catchy and fun.
JJ Heller sings like an angel. nuff said.
I’m not sure I can adequately describe what he does because it’s so profound and dimensional and I’m feeling one sided since he didn’t pick me to go to the Dominican Republic on this compassion trip.
While some people talk about being Christian and what it means to live out faith in this world;
Shawn strikes me as the simple person who wakes up every day and does it.
He has a free song to give away on his Shlog. If I were a blog smart I could figure out to to get it on my blog here, but alas I”m still blogmentary.

Aw…thanks for the kind words, Charity. I’m glad you like the music!
I’m working on a one line definition of what the Bloggable Music Network is all about…
Proof… we are two degrees seperated from someone famous… Kat read my blog!
When you have that one liner slap it my way!
Oh, and It’s Joy, not Jessica. She (or her husband Nate) will eventually see this post, so you might want to edit that.
I’ll add a link to your post as soon as I get stuff up and running over at the BMN blog.
And for the record, I like Anne of Green Gables AND LaCrae.
Kat… thank’s for the Joy clarification, 8 days of no food and working all night, and not generally being a detail person… what can I say?
LaCrae… now he’s the man… go girlie
