Fun Music Monday

Kat hosts music mondays and I thought jumping into her web campaign could bring some excitement and inspiration to my blog as well as it just sounded fun so I jumped on board to participate….  she did me wrong today!

Just when I thought I had the nitch  she gets all creative and throws a curve ball because that’s what clever, creative people do.  They spice things  up for those of us who like life to be the same over and over.  Some people need predictability, and while I’m generally not one of them, this really tripped my brain for two reasons:

The theme is your favorite tv show theme song and well, for someone who grew up without a tv and is media challenged this is not fun.. and the title clearly said, “FUN music monday”.  I mean how will I participate.  This is going to be a very bad, no good, day.

Secondly being technically challenged how will I link to something I won’t find?  I’d have to try to get a lifetime of media education in like 4 hours.

I had a cut and paste clear cut answer for today.  I was prepared.  I spent hours googleing for music that was released past the 2007 date when I stopped listening to current, cutting edge music (except Toby Mac… we buy his new stuff).  I even spent my money on some new tunes so I could share them with you world wide web and I wake up to WHAT?  Something different?  The HORROR

Since it’s monday and I don’t feel like doing any of those things, I will just go back to bed.
You will just have  to use your imagninations as I list off the shows I know have theme music from the recesses of my childhood afternoons spent with children who owned black boxes with large antenas.

Jeapordy… hum it with me now
Little House on the prarie… can’t you see Michael Landon   smileing as “pa”
The “A” Team… oh yeah it’s comin’ back to me.
Night Rider… I can’t remember the theme song all that well but I remember likeing the show.
The Anamaniacs…. well there ya have it.
That pretty much sums up my tv show knowlege.  I suppose one theme song is as good as another?

    I know what you mean!

I watched very little tv growing up and didn’t get much of what everyone was talking about over there. Oh well!

  3. Amy… I considered it an educational opportunity and enjoyed looking up old shows that I never knew about.

MITC… laughter is what makes my world go round… yours too huh?
